Our good friend (and Bearhawk builder) Fred Spain had reserved a camping spot for us with his group of friends and brought his pickup truck to help us move all of our stuff to our campsite.

One hour later, we were all set up and ready for the week of fun.  Here we are with our tent all set up:

The following pictures are just random things that we saw on different days at Oshkosh.  We were there Sunday through Friday and just took pictures of things that we found interesting.  Not all of it is Bearhawk related but basically just gives you a sample of what Oshkosh is all about.

While walking to the gate to register and pay for our camp site, we saw this sign. We thought it was funny because it says "Camper Pet Area" then at the bottom says "No Pets Allowed".:

We also got a picture at the brown arch near the homebuilt parking area:

My virtual  email friend Russ "Erbman" Erb and I have had a dream for a couple of years of flying our Bearhawks to Oshkosh and parking next to each other.  On Monday, we finally achieved that dream. Here is the Miss'ippi Mudbug and Three Sigma parked at Oshkosh:

Once we were tied down and met Erbman in person for the first time, we had a group of Bearhawk builders show up so we took a group photo near Erbman's Bearhawk "Three Sigma":

Left to right is Eric Newton, Ed Harvey, Pete Young and Russ Erb.

Here is nice P-51 Mustang taxiing out for departure:

White Knight Two arrived and touched down:

A nice smooth touch down:

The huge A380 was put through its paces.  The maneuvering of this gigantic airplane was simply amazing.  Later it landed in less than 5,000 feet and made the middle taxiway of runway 18:
